Today the men took over the primary so that the women could all attend relief society together. It was a fantastic hour. I don't think there was a dry eye in the room after the meeting was over. It was so what I needed to hear. We watched a clip on Emma Smith and all during the clip my thoughts kept turning to the past 3 years and how much Jon and I have grown together. I found myself thinking about the trials we have faced while in school and then being reminded about the growth that came from each one. I could see how much my testimony has grown and the friends I have made while being here in the village. I could see the times where one of these sisters touch my life and help me continue on when I felt like I could not. I was reminded today that I am stronger than I think am. And that I will be ok when we leave the comfort of the village and move on to the next stage in life. The gospel no matter where we are in the world is the same and just knowing that should bring us the comfort we need to keep pushing forward.

Baby Lilly can smile!

While celebrating mothers day with my mom We took some pictures of Lilly and my new niece Kaitlyn. Lilly decided this was a great time to show off her cute smile. I loved it. She seemed so little to me until I had her next to Kaitlyn. She has gotten so big.

Jon graduated on May 6. Jon has worked so hard over the past 6 years to get to this point in his life. He has worked full and gone to school full time. This has meant that he has had many late nights. But he very rarely complained about it. Jon loves helping people and being a social worker he will get to do just that. Jon always thinks of others first. Often putting his needs last just to make sure that other are taken care of. I know he has chosen the right field. I am so proud of him and all his hard work.

This year we spent Halloween with some of our court friends. we started the day off with a trip to officers corner for a little trick or treating. Then we headed home for naps. Later that night we all went back to a friends house for a potluck dinner with just the girls as the men headed off to the football game. We then took all the kids to trick or treating. We had so much fun. It brings tears to my eyes as I think of much I have depended on these ladies over the last two year. They have become more than friends they are family. I know that I can call any of them for help. Life away from the village is going to be a hard adjustment. I feel so blessed to have gotten the chance to get to know such great people. You have help make me into the mom and wife I want to be. You are amazing I love all of you. Thanks so much for a great day.

With Halloween around the corner I have tried to do some fun things with Rylee. We made puppy chow one day with her friend and then made puppets. I also let her sticker up pumpkins and today a friend of mine dropped off a bag of monster parts and we were able to build this cute little monster. She had so much and is loving all our little projects. She is so excited for Halloween this year and all her parties she gets to go to. She is also just like her mother and loves her chocolate. I don't think she is going to share this year.

My little man is growing up so fast. As you can tell I have my hands full. He loves to climb on everything and with him walking now I spend my days chasing him around. But the kid can make any one smile. I love this little boy so much. His looks are priceless.
