This is were most people start there water rafting trip down the green river. We were told it has some of the best rapids.

When you drop the food. The fish are jumping all over each other trying to get the food. It was so cool.

We were just going to take a small drive and ended up at flaming gorge. For those of you who do not know. It is only 42 miles away from our house. It only takes like a half hour to get there. I have never been to flaming gorge and all I can say is I loved it. It was so amazing. and we only saw a small portion of it. The dam tour was free so we decided to go on it. the kids need to get out of the car any way. They loved feeding the fish and they loved looking down at the river. Jon just kept saying I need to go fishing. So I am sure a trip will be planned soon. The drive up there is so cool. I wish I would have taken more pictures. But I just enjoying looking at everything and sense it so close I am sure we will be going again soon. It was so nice to get out and see what is around us here in vernal. There is so many places that you can go hiking and there is three lakes that are with in 30 minutes of us. I am excited to see what this summer will bring for us as we go and enjoy the great out doors. And they say that vernal is the arm pit of america. If this is the arm pit then I must like arm pits cause this place is so beautiful. I am sure this summer will hold many adventures for us. I love that Jon works normal hours so that we can go and do things like this.
